Q- 1. What were the steps you went through to create your mask so far?
A- First I had to cut out my mask design, just like the one from my art journal (the A4 mask design). Then I had to soak my solid and hard cardboard and place it up upon a blown up balloon. Then I did papier mache and let it dry overnight. Then for the last step, I had to paint my papier mached mask with a base paint multiple times (for the layers) which was white and I let it dry.
Q- 2. What was challenging?
A- Papier mache was challenging for me because when I did the 3-D effect on my mask.
Q- 3. Describe what you will do next to finish the mask.
A- I will let the wet mask dry from the base paint. Then I will paint my mask from my A4 mask design and add my designs.
